What are the three types of jacks?
The car jacks used in daily life can be roughly divided into these three types
Bottle Jack
A hydraulic jack shaped like a bottle that can lift a vehicle higher and handle more weight than a floor jack. Bottle jacks are often used for minor repairs because they are less expensive than floor jacks.
Scissor Jack
A lightweight and affordable portable jack that is often the standard jack for most vehicles. Scissor jacks are ideal for lifting lighter vehicles, with an average lifting capacity of 1-2 tons.
Floor Jack
A jack with a horizontal shaft that is operated by pushing down on the handle. Floor jacks come in both mechanical and hydraulic styles.
